Final Colour Logo - Spot (blank Win)Nazarene Theological College (NTC) is adding more online opportunities for people to access its excellence in theological education and vibrant research and learning community. Over the coming weeks NTC has a number of events that can be accessed online through a variety of online options: videoconferencing, live-streaming and webinars.

The 2014 MWRC annual lecture will be given by Professor Morna Hooker on Tuesday 17 June at 5pm (GMT+1) on the campus of Nazarene Theological College. The lecture title is ‘Scriptural Holiness: The Wesleys’ Use of Scripture’. For those who cannot make it to campus, the lecture will be live-streamed at www.livestream.com/ntcmanchester – a unique opportunity to hear one of the foremost scholars in Biblical Studies.

Nazarene Theological College is also pioneering Postgraduate distance study options through the use of videoconferencing. Building on the current model of flexibility the Masters of Arts in Theology offers, this year will see more classes being offered by videoconference, allowing students to complete the Masters programme at distance. More information on the Masters pathways can be found on NTC’s website – www.nazarene.ac.uk

Due to NTC’s increasing online presence and in recognition of its global audience there will be the opportunity to take part in online informational webinars to learn more about studying at NTC. On Tuesday July 8th Faculty and Academic Staff from NTC will be hosting webinars with presentations on all levels, subject areas, and modes of study. These representatives will be happy to answer any questions about studying theology at NTC. If you are interested in participating in these webinars then please email the Registrar, Dr. Joseph Wood, on jwood@nazarene.ac.uk for more information and timing of the webinars.

Behind these new developments is NTC’s desire to serve the global church. Dr. Joseph Wood comments, “At NTC, we are seeking new and innovative ways to share the richness of studying theology with those who are unable to join us on campus. It is our hope that our virtual presence will contribute to the growing needs of the Church around the world.”

Nazarene Theological College is a partner institute of The University of Manchester, offering theological education from certificate level through to postgraduate research degrees. It is proud of its association with the city of Manchester and the University of Manchester.
