Introducing our new Eurasia Region NYI Coordinator – Amy Warner
“Young people are a demographic of the church, not just a ministry of the church,” says newly appointed Eurasia Region NYI Coordinator Amy Warner. “I’m really passionate about giving young people a voice to share with the Church.”
Amy brings years of experience mentoring students in the Church of the Nazarene, including serving as the Northern Europe Youth Field Coordinator since 2018. Before that, she spent time as District NYI President and youth leader in her hometown of Erskine, Scotland. She attended a Third Wave Conference, where she found her calling while watching students come together to serve God and those around them.
Amy also works as a visual storyteller and coordinates social media for the organisation ’Dignity Freedom Network’, who serve marginalised communities across India. She hopes to bring this experience to her new role in helping young people to share how God is at work where they are across our region
Amy recognises she owes much of her journey to the faithful mentorship of many youth leaders along the way, and is excited to support young people in finding their faith and calling as she serves in this new role.
“This generation of young people are compassionate and I look forward to journeying with them to make a difference for God across our Region.”
