“We would like to give you a little Christmas joy as a sign of our appreciation,” said Pastor Hans-Günter Mohn of the Church of the Nazarene Gelnhausen.
Together with preacher Tanja Baum and Heiner Lake, a member of the church’s board, he presented numerous gift packages to clinic employees of the Covid-19 wards in the Gelnhausen hospital.
“For many people, this pandemic is a dark time. It takes a lot of light and care to accompany people through this difficult time,” the deliverers addressed the employees, “You do a great and valuable job. For that we thank you from the bottom of our hearts.”
The appreciative words and lovingly compiled and wrapped gifts were received with pleasure by the teams. Jessica Schultheis and Yvonne Loleit (intensive care unit), Susanne Herwig (ward A4.2) and Stefan Schuster (head of nursing) expressed their thanks for the wonderful surprise on behalf of the wards.
