First Sweet Surrender café opens in Denmark

The Greve Church of the Nazarene, Denmark, on 1 May opened its new café ministry in the neighborhood of Vesterbro, close to the city center of Copenhagen. The café is named Sweet Surrender, after its two sister Nazarene cafés in Poland.

German “Shadow Riders” brave rain and wind to raise funds for children in South Asia

It wasn't exactly a pleasant Sunday morning that dawned on September 8th in Gelnhausen in central Germany. The summer had said farewell the day before and a steady drizzle fell out of a cold, grey sky. Nonetheless, a small group of brave bikers met shortly after 7 a.m. at the central bus station to load their bicycles onto a chartered bus.

“paXan” Team of German young adults performs “Week of the Knights” for children in Sighişoara, Romania

Sighişoara: a picturesque little town in the Romanian part of Transylvania, established in the twelfth century by German immigrants. Even today, many local children attend a German school. High above the river lies the "citadel", the town's historical centre and the ideal location for a real German "Ritterwoche" – a "Week of the Knights".
